Coliseum, Ref: RA83
The coliseum, a huge amphitheatre, was built in Rome by Emperor Vespasian.
It was the most famous amphitheatre in the Roman world and was used for
gladiatorial combat including mock naval battles, when the arena was
actually filled with water.
